I'm going away to band camp again tomorrow. I have to wake up earlier; blergh. I'm using that word way too much--probably because of all the old 30 Rock episodes I watch obsessively.

Anyway, because I was bored and thinking about politics: a lovely drabble courtesy of the drabble generator starring our two favorite Dems, Hilary and Barack!

Sorrowfully Tripping

Barack tripped along fortunately. He was on his way to meet his lover, Hilary, for Valentine's Day. He smiled to see an owl hopping along, carrying an encyclopedia in its mouth.

Barack was almost over the rainbow when he came across a bubbly cake, lying alone on a limp plate. "That must be a treat from my refreshing bear," he said to himself, and tripped over to it. The cake looked extraordinary, so he ate it.

It gave him the most instrumental tingling sensation in his ankle. "How unusual!" he said and continued tripping to see Hilary.

When Hilary came out to meet him, she took one look and fell over.

"What is it?" Barack cried turbulently.

"Your eyeball! And your liver!" Hilary said. "They're sick! Can't you feel it?"

Barack felt his eyeball and his liver. They were indeed quite sick. "Oh, no!" Barack said. "I'm a woman!" He, or rather, she started to cry. "It must have been that bubbly cake you left for me. Did you know what it would do?"

"I didn't leave you any cake," Hilary said. "I got you a plastic wrap. It must have been that troubling man who lives nearby. He acts a little softly, ever since he ripped a jack-in-the-box."

"But how can you ever love me, now that I'm a woman?" Barack sobbed.

"Well, I never knew how to tell you this," Hilary said hopefully, "but I actually prefer women. And I think your eyeball is really funky like that."

"Really?" Barack dried her tears. Barack kissed Hilary and it was an entirely gay sensation, like a starved goldfish leaping for it's food flakes..

They spent the night having entirely gay sex, until the cake wore off suddenly.

Everything was rather awkward after that.

I've finally found a good RP over on Insanejournal. It's called Oh Buggar (I know, odd spelling), and it's a light-hearted time-warp thing. I just put in my application for Albus Severus (who I made a Hufflepuff, yay!) here. Tell me what you think, if you get a chance. I was so lucky to find a site with good PB bases. I actually found my ideal Albus (Louis Prades) in the first few entries! Shame I have to go to band camp in two days.

Hello, all. I've been thinking about getting into roleplaying for a while, and I'm trying to get my feet wet. I was looking at the whole character journal thing, but that's a bit daunting for me currently. I was wondering if any of my wonderful friends would mind RPing on AIM and showing me the ropes, persay? I'd be open to Harry Potter, Avatar, even House or bandom. OhmygawdI'vebeenawayforsolongdearGod! I doubt if I'll ever post regularly, so just take what you can get. XP

I've just fallen in love with Avatar (which is the coolest cartoon ever). But why does it have to end right when I've fallen in love with it? *sobs* I think the series finale is in July, and I'm thoroughly spoiled. I watched all the episodes within the space of a week, I think, and they were all pretty awesome, though I don't ship anything yet. SHOCK! If any of you like Avatar, a bit of persuasion may be in order (hint hint, fics).

I've just gotten interested in RP, but I've never done it. I've been trying to steel myself up to join a board/comm/whatever, but as I said, I'm a total RP n00b and have no idea where to start. If anyone's willing to take me under their wing and show me around the basics, that'd be fantastic. :)

I'm sorry I haven't posted for so long. I don't even have a super duper excuse; I'm just lazy. :P But that's why everybody loves me. XD

Anyway, I just found this awesome drabble generator, and I thought I'd share a few of my creations. You have no idea how many guts I busted consecutively when reading these.

w00t! hogwarts_elite posted applications!! YAY! Nobody told me *glares angrily at h_e friends*, so I was two days late, but whatever. I had fun. Only a few went up, but I put in my vote. I love sorting!

I've been trying to write something for a while, but whenever I sit with an open document, or with a pen and paper, nothing happens. So, maybe some discussion would help this process. I've been thinking about writing a story based on Teddy getting bitten by a werewolf when he's 8, just like his dad, and how he deals with it through his life. Good idea? Any suggestions?

Five questions from seethingheathen. Why? Because I was bored.


1.) Your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Your mobile has no signal. Soon, a dodgy-looking car with a dodgy-looking man driving pulls over. He may be your only hope for rescue for hours, and he's offering to help you. Do you take the offered ride, or wait it out?

Wait it out. Or, more likely, ask the man for directions to the nearest gas station, or if I can borrow his cell phone.

2.) What is your favourite fruit?

Bananas. I hate most fruit, but bananas are okay. If I feel guilty about having not eating a piece of fruit in the last month (something which actually does happen), then I'll snatch one from my friend's cupboard, or buy a bushel (or whatever it's called) at the super market.

3.) Would you knowingly serve someone a food they were only mildly allergic to (they won't die if they eat it) because cooking something special would be an inconvenience?

No way. They'd know, and it would be all awkward and they'd be all covered in hives and giving me a bit of a glare, as I knew that they were allergic. If they couldn't have gluten, or something, I would toss them a banana or go to a restaurant.

4.) Would you sacrifice your life to save the world? And no, you don't get to only pretend-die. You have to stay dead.

The last part of this one cracked me up. If I didn't know it was coming, and it wasn't something like walking through acid (FUCK NO), then maybe. When I get behind a cause, sometimes, I can be selfless. I dunno. Depends, I guess.

5.) What is generally the first thing you think about when you wake up?

My shower, and whether or not it's going to be hot. My shower is the best part of the day--how pathetic is that? :(

Geez, I guess I should post about something other than my aforementioned cough acute bronchitis, huh? Too bad. :P

For nonmembers and the uninformed, hogwarts_elite is starting up its thirteenth term right now. They're accepting apps until the 20th, and I suggest those not involved get themselves involved immediately. Seriously, it's such a fun and active community, and though it nearly killed me to get the application done, it felt so great when I finally got sorted into Ravenclaw.

So, if you're looking for something to do, give h_e a try. I want to see some new friends in the Tower soon. ;)

PS--I'm still sick. And I hurt. :( I NEED YOUR PITY, NOW MORE THAN EVAH! ...Err, sorry, that's the cough medicine talking. :D

I am sick. Blegh. I just took my first sick day off from school in two years. 0_o I have a nasty cough, and my throat is on fire.

I just got stamped Percy Weasley over at stamped_hp. I'm starting to doubt my complete and total Ravenclawness--I'm starting to see more and more similarities between me and the lions. :O

SWEENEY TODD. THAT MOVIE JUST BLEW MY MIND. SERIOUSLY.

I can't even describe it; it's inherently awesome. There's so much blood, and angst, and singing, and OMGZ BURNING ALIVE!!!!!!!11 Burton created such an atmosphere in the movie, his casting choices totally reflected that. I loved every moment of this film. I command all of my loyal minions to go see it and have your mind subsequently blown.

And did you know Pettigrew is in the movie???? He is. *nods madly* He plays Alan Rickman AKA Snape AKA Judge Turpin's lackey (oh HAI there direct parallel to the sixth book!), and I love him. Aw hell, I love them all! *twirls madly and throws daisies across the room*

Damn. Spears Jr. is preggers. Apologies to those who believed me when I said she wasn't.

She has to be, right? TMZ AND Entertainment Tonight can't both have it wrong, can they?

On a semi-related note, I just realized that we both have the same middle name. There's actually two other Samantha Lynn's in my school. Why did my parents have to follow the buffalo over the cliff? *mopes over tragically common name*

Why am I always so late to the bandwagon?

I just got sucked into shoebox_project, three years after it was started. *facepalm* Seriously, though, it's so awesome. I'm in love with it. I've only gotten up to the beginning of seventh year, though, so I warn you, on pain of virtual death and disembowelment, DO NOT SPOIL ME.

Reading the series has helped give me a new perspective on the MWPP era (which means Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs, as I just found out). I'm starting to see Snape in a new light, the poor, miserable bastard. I don't think I'll ever be able to read a Snarry fic without flinching, now.

Like my icon? It's one of my favorite quotes. Besides the obvious--"I do believe in commas, I do, I do."
